Privacy notice (KVKK)

Under Article 10 of Turkey's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), we inform you about the personal data we process through our website and application forms.

Data we process: In the application form, your full name, work email, the brand you want assessed, your role and your optional note; in the meeting form, your full name, work email, company and optional topic; and the language in which the form was submitted. Technical records kept by our hosting provider when you submit a form (IP address, browser information, time of submission). With your consent, analytics data on how you use the site (details in the Cookie Policy).

Purposes: To review your application; to prepare and send you Coherence Lite or Coherence Brief; to contact you and schedule the feedback conversation and any meeting you request; to protect the form against misuse; and, with your consent, to measure visits in order to improve the site.

Collection method and legal grounds: Data is collected electronically through the forms and cookies on the site. Legal grounds: the service relationship established at your request, that is, processing directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c); our legitimate interest in providing and improving the service securely (Art. 5/2-f); and your explicit consent for analytics cookies (Art. 5/1).

Transfers: Our website and forms run on the infrastructure of Netlify, Inc. (USA) and our email on that of Google LLC (USA); if you accept analytics cookies, measurement is carried out by Google LLC (USA). Your data is therefore transferred abroad, in line with the safeguards in Article 9 of the KVKK. We do not share or sell your data to anyone else; it may be shared with competent public authorities only where required by law.

Retention: Application data is kept for 6 months after the end of the pre-launch period and then deleted or anonymised. If a service relationship is established with you, the periods required by the applicable legislation apply.

Your rights: Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties to whom it is transferred; to request its correction if incomplete or inaccurate, and its deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met, and to have these actions notified to the recipients; to object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

Cookie policy

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on north-studio.co, for what purpose and with what consent.

What is a cookie? Cookies are small text files saved in your browser when you visit a website. Your browser's local storage works in a similar way.

Essential cookies and records (no consent required): The nf_lang cookie remembers your language preference and is kept for 1 year. The north-consent record keeps your choice from the cookie banner in your browser's local storage until you delete it. These are needed for the site to work and are not used to identify you.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent): If you accept in the cookie banner, Google Analytics is loaded and cookies named _ga and starting with _ga_ are kept for up to 2 years. They help us measure the number of visits and how pages are used. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded.

Advertising cookies: We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies on our site.

Changing your choice: You can delete this site's cookies and site data in your browser settings; on your next visit the cookie banner appears again and you can choose again.

At North Studio, we keep the information we collect to a minimum, use it only to serve you and take care to protect it.

What we collect from you: Only the information you provide in the application form and, with your consent, analytics data on site use. Which data is processed, for what purpose and for how long is set out in the Privacy Notice (KVKK); cookies are described in the Cookie Policy.

Data our assessments rely on: Coherence Lite and Coherence Brief rely on brands' publicly available data: website, advertising, app and user reviews, complaints, pricing and communication. We do not record personal information such as usernames, names or contact details found in reviews and complaints; we keep only the source, date and a summary of the content. We do not ask for your internal company data.

Confidentiality of assessments: The assessment we prepare is sent only to the person who applied; it is not sent separately to the brand assessed. If we wish to use an assessment as an anonymous example, we ask for your permission first.

Sharing: We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for advertising. Only the infrastructure providers we use to deliver the service (hosting and email) may access it.

Security: Our site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS); only the North Studio team has access to applications.

Changes: When we update this policy, the new version is published on this page with its update date.
